We are all fellow travelers in this life. If we can help another soul along the way, let us consider doing so.
They have no voice. They have no choice....without you.
We advocate adopting dogs from shelters and rescue groups rather than buying them from breeders. So many wonderful, beautiful dogs are killed every day, it's a shame to bring more into the world. With advice from dog professionals, you can find a dog which will be a good match for your home.
We frequently assist local rescue groups by training and boarding some of their special needs dogs. At present, we're looking for a home for this magnificent boy:
Licorice
Licorice is a 4 year old male Giant Schnauzer/Rottie mix with a magnificent bear-like appearance. He is soft-coated, non-shedding with natural ears and tail and weighs around 80 lbs. Licorice is an exceptionally intelligent, playful and loving dog with a special affinity for female labs. He has a natural protective instinct, which before undergoing an intensive, prolonged training program, had become inappropriate stranger aggression. At this point, we believe the perfect home for Licorice would include children over 6, a female lab, and dominant adults experienced with large dogs and willing to follow the strict guidelines and firm discipline set forth by his trainer. Anyone interested in adopting Licorice will be required to meet with both Licorice and the trainer for a consult. Licorice is healthy, neutered and current on all vaccines. If you are interested in Licorice, please contact us at (310) 939-9212.
